View November’s In-the-Spotlight on Texas Book Festival, whose headquarters are based at Springdale General in Central East Austin. Offering year-round Literary Programs and their Annual Festival, TBF connects authors and readers through experiences that celebrate the culture of literacy, ideas, and imagination.

Austin Parks Foundation partners with the community to enhance people’s lives by improving Austin’s public parks, trails, and green spaces through volunteerism, innovative programming, advocacy, and financial support. Since 1992, APF has envisioned a community in which the lives of all people are enriched through access to Austin’s well-maintained public parks, trails, and green spaces.
